She has been responsible for organization and facilitation on behalf of the PPF several conferences, seminars, round tables, workshops on topics of national and international importance for PPF and its partner organisations.
Pooja Kumari is currently working as Chief Coordinator and Research Associate with the PPF. She has joined the organisation in September, 2017 as a Coordinator and Researcher. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, from Lady Shri Ram College for Women and Bachelor's degree in the same from Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. She was also part of various projects as a Project Coordinator and researcher. She headed a project as Project Coordinator ‘POCSO Act Since 2012: Its Implementation, Impact and Future Pathways’, published by the PPF in June, 2024. Other projects namely ‘Central Asian States: A Contextual Study of Challenges and Pathways for India’, also Project Coordinator for the study on “Custodial Deaths: Trends and Patterns in Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal” (2009-2018), the project of the National Human Rights Commission. She has been a member of the research team studying ‘Status Of Cases Under The POCSO Act, 2012 And Dynamics Of Implementation: A Report On Delhi’ in association with Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) and Project Coordinator of ‘Dynamics of Women's Empowerment Legislative Intents and Challenges To Gender Equality’ under Project Gargi (2018), one of the main Initiatives of the PPF. She has been research coordinator for a project ‘Muslims in Contemporary India: An Examination of Discourse of Exclusion’ sanctioned by the ICSSR to the PPF and ‘Study of Radicalization in Southern & Western India’ sanctioned by the BPR&D. She has published various articles on various subjects of her research interests such as child & woman safety, environment condition of jails in India etc. which has been regularly featured on website of the organisation and PPF's newsletter "Prism”. She has also the ability to translate the articles from English to Hindi, various articles were translated into Hindi by her has been published in prominent Hindi Newspapers. She has previously worked with various organisation in Delhi like Pratham Education Foundation and J-PAL South Asia | The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab.
