BIOGRAPHY

Pooja Kumari has joined PPF in September 2017 as a Coordinator cum Researcher. Currently, she is Chief Coordinator of the organization and Project Coordinator of a research project titled ‘Central Asian States: A Contextual Study of Challenges and Pathways for India & also part of a research team working on Custodial Deaths in Bihar, Bengal, and Jharkhand, the project of the National Human Rights Commission, has also been a member of the research team studying the Implementation of Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 in association with Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) and part of Project Gargi (2018) one of the main Initiatives of the PPF. She has written articles on various subjects of her research interests such as woman's safety especially after Nirbhaya, stalking, migrants, environment and she has the ability to translate the articles from English to Hindi, various articles were translated into Hindi by her has been published in prominent Hindi Newspapers. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University.
