A P Bhatnagar IPS-1968 – Punjab (Retd.), BSc. (Ewing Christin College Allahabad University. 1962) LLB (Lucknow University, 1964), M.A (Muir Hostel, Allahabad University, 1966), former Advisor, Justice J. S. Verma (former CJI) Commission of Inquiry, former ADGP Punjab State Human Rights Commission, Former DGP Punjab (Prisons). Post retirement served as Advisor to GMR Group of Industries also served for about one year before joining IPS in 1968, as Probationary, State Bank of India. Presently Treasurer, Policy Perspectives Foundation (PPF). Author of a report on Prison Reforms for Govt. of Punjab. Convener of a feu projects relating to Child Rights and Child Protection along with British Council and Foreign & Commonwealth Office, UK. Have visited Child Protection Centres being run by the UK on the invitation of the British Council. He is currently Secretary General, PPF.
