BIOGRAPHY

Dhirendra Singh joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1968 and was in the Karnataka Cadre. He served in various capacities in the Karnataka State Government and in the Government of India and retired in 2005 after serving as the Union Home Secretary. Post retirement he was a member of the Commission on Center State Relations which rendered it's report in March 2010.
