Dr. S. Chandra is a renowned Management Consultant and Institution Builder having expertise in Business Policy, Systems and Strategy, Organizational Restructuring and Renewal, Human Resource Management, Training and Development, Marketing, Finance and Corporate Social Responsibility. In a career spanning several decades, he has been Consultant and Advisor to leading international and national corporate organizations, premiere educational institutions and served as member of official committees of the State and Central Government. He has advised U.N bodies like I.L.O-Bangkok; ARPLA-Manila; U.N APDAC-Kuala Lumpur and several International agencies such as I.C.P.E-Yugoslavia; Commonwealth Secretariat-London; F.E.S Bonn, D.S.E Berlin, Iraq National Oil Company and Center for Economic Development, Nepal. Dr. Chandra has been Member Board of Directors of: Export-Import Bank of India; National Mineral Development Corporation; Andhra Cements Ltd; Deccan Cements Ltd; ShamkeenMultifab Ltd; Mahaveer Spinning and Weaving Mills; Tannery and Footwear Corporation of India; Hyderabad Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd; Andhra Pradesh Heavy Machinery Manufacturing Corporation, Small Industries Extension Training Institute and Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Pvt. Ltd; Director, Administrative Staff College of India, International Management Institute (IMI) and Strategic Advisor, Ansal University. He has also been member of several Official Committees set up by the Government of India such as Bureau of Police Research and Development; Twenty-One Member Committee on Industrial Relations; Committee on Workers Participation in Management and Equity, Training of IAS Officers, Restructuring of Weak Public Sector Banks etc. Dr Chandra has been a visiting scholar to world renowned educational institutions like University of California, Berkeley; McGill University, Montreal; Manchester Business School and University of Rhode Island.
