A round table discussion was held on “Triple Talaq” at IIC, New Delhi. It focussed on the larger context of empowerment of and equal rights for women in India. The event was chaired by Prof. Ms Sahiba Hussain, Director Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women’s studies, Jamia milia and the talk was delivered by Prof. Syed Tanveer Nasreen, Head, Department of Women’s studies of Burdwan University.
