Background

‘Protsahan’ is an initiative endured by the Policy Perspectives Foundation and supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands which was completed in June 2024. The project aims at the economic empowerment of vulnerable women from the economically backward areas of Delhi by skilling them in both traditional and non-traditional trades like Stitching-Tailoring and Office Management.

The trainees of Office Management undergo a rigorous training of 3 months towards the end, the trainees are counselled and guided to pursue employment opportunities. For Traditional trades like stitching and tailoring, the collaborating party is a CSR initiative by ‘Singer’ company.
