As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada 2025 initiative, Policy Perspectives Foundation successfully organized, in association with Oil India Limited / ऑयल इंडिया लिमिटेड webinar on Circular Economy and Waste Management on 11th July 2025. The session aimed to build awareness and drive meaningful conversations around sustainable waste management, resource recovery, and the integration of informal sectors into circular systems.
The event featured leading experts in the field:

The session was inaugurated by Shri PORAN BARUAH, Chief General Manager (HSE), Oil India Limited who appreciated the relevance of the topic in the current environmental context and reiterated OIL India’s commitment to sustainability.
With over 30 plus participants from diverse sectors, including government, academia, and civil society, the session saw vibrant engagement and several insightful audience questions.
The session was hosted by Ms. Manika Malhotra, Coordinator PPF , and the event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Shri Sanjay Sinha, Treasurer, PPF, who acknowledged the speakers’ invaluable contributions and thanked Oil India Limited for their continued support in making such awareness initiatives possible.
