KM Singh, Vice President, PPF delivered a talk on ‘Disasters Risk Reduction: An Integrated Approach’ in a 5-day Certification course on ‘Community at Risk & Disaster: An Interdisciplinary Perspective’ organised by the Dept of Humanities & Social Sciences at the IIT, Delhi. The participants in this course were research scholars and mid-service professionals from different streams. The objective of this programme was to sensitise the participants of disaster vulnerability of India and various disaster risk reduction initiatives taken or suggested at the national and international levels.
