A two-day National Workshop on Earthquake Preparedness in India was organised in association with Vivekanand International Foundation (VIF) at VIF premises, New Delhi. Shri Hardeep Puri, Minister for Urban Development delivered special address. Officials and experts from Ministry of Science & Technology, IIT Delhi & Madras, NDMA, NIDM and NDRF etc participated in the deliberations. Key recommendations of this workshop, following in-depth discussion with professionals, experts & academicians in this field, was shared at appropriate levels in the Govt.
