About Events

The second part of the in-house discussion on the recent developments in Afghanistan was organised under Chatham House Rule in hybrid mode, i.e. partly online and partly offline mode. During the discussions various issues and aspects of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan was again discussed with experts from the subject who deliberated on the reasons that led to the Taliban takeover and the existing ground realities there. The speakers felt that the situation was still fluid and no fixed conclusion could yet be drawn.
