About Events

A workshop for architects and civil engineers was organized on June 11, 2016 by the DM Cell, NOIDA with PPF as knowledge partner. It resulted in documentation of three sets of recommendations covering technical, policy and legal domains. The key recommendations included development of risk assessment models with help of geospatial technologies, setting up of Urban Service Monitoring System, Real Time Surveillance System, state of art Emergency Operation Centre, change in approach from anthropogenic solutions (human based solutions) to an ecosystem based approach (conservation of natural habitat), and amendment in Building Byelaws of Local Bodies to enforce Earthquake Resistant Designs & Construction of Buildings.
